About Mike

Capturing once in a lifetime moments and creating images that people cannot take their eyes off of is why Mike Sidney has been enjoying a career in wedding photography for over 14 years. Although he is formally educated in both photography and graphic design, it's the many years of real life professional experience that have allowed him to develop his own unique and appealing style. 

Mike really enjoys being a part of the excitement of the wedding day. With a natural ability to immediately make friends with all the family and guests, Mike is polite and empathetic, with just right amount of assertiveness. Simply put, Mike gets the job done, and you will have fun working with him the whole time.

Mike Sidney Photography follows the same service philosophy as many five star hotels and resorts. We think of you and your needs first. Our production artists ensure your photos, albums, and DVDs are of the highest quality and available within a surprisingly quick turn around time (usually 2 business days for clients who can attend a viewing). Nicole, our office manager, is available Monday through Friday from 9am-4pm (HI time, 888-505-2808) to answer any of your questions. She is so easy to talk to, you can practically feel her smile through the phone! Let us show you our pride in delivering consistent quality and service. 

Outside of professional photography, Mike enjoys spending time with his wife, Tokie, and their two cats Stewie and Ponzu. He loves art and music and has fun practicing the drums. Mike has been living on Maui for over eight years and although he loves to travel, cannot think of a better place to enjoy being a wedding photographer.
